Course Learning Outcomes:

    Political Process of India

    Course Outcome:

    1) Imparting knowledge of Political Process in India.
    2) Understanding of approaches in Political Process of India.
    3) Understand Voting Behaviour.
    4) Getting knowledge about Election Commission, Party System, Communalism, Regionalism and Language

     Local Self Government in Maharashtra
    Course Outcomes : 
    1) To Develop local leadership.
    2) To create awareness of the local- self government as well as developmental measures.
    3) It will provide knowledge of the local – self government in Maharashtra.
    4) To understand the role of local-self government as instrument to achieve rural and urban developmental goals.
    5) Understand the Constitutional Provision of Local - Self Government.

    Indian Political Thoughts-I

    Course outcomes: 

    The student will able t
    1) Understand the historical development of Indian Political Thoughts.
     2) Understand the relevance of ancient ideas with present time. 
    3) Understand the trajectory of ideas on key Political questions and institutions of ancient Indian as developed by Kautilya. 
    4) Understand renaissance and reformation in India and the role of Mahatma Phule and Rajarshi Shahu Chhatrapati in it. 
    5) Understand the ideas of nationalism of Lokmanya Tilak.

                                          Indian Political Thoughts-II

    Course outcomes: 

    1) The student will get knowledge about the development of Indian Political thoughts.
     2) Build up basic concepts like -Satya, Ahimsa, Satyagraha, Trusteeship and Sarvodaya of Mahatma Gandhi. 
    3) Students can understand about Secular Nationalism and Internationalism, Democratic Socialism and Mixed Economy of Jawaharlal Nehru. 
    4) Students will get ideas about critique of caste system, state socialism &Parliamentary democracy for Social and economic democracy of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar 
    5) Students can understand the different thoughts of M. N. Roy.

                                 Public Administration Paper-I (CGE)

    Course Outcomes: 

    1)To impart knowledge about the nature, scope importance of Public Administration.

     2)The student will get knowledge about making theoretical clarity of basic concepts and dynamics relating to Public organizations. 

    3)To familiarise the students with Changing Perspectives of Public Administration.

     4)The student will get knowledge about contemporary concepts of Public Administration.

    Modern Political Concepts 

    Course Outcome: 
    1) Student will know Modern Political Concepts such as Feminism, Multiculturalism, Environmentalism and Civil Society etc. 
    2) This will provide comprehensive idea of contemporary scenario in Political Science.

    Paper No. VIII and XIII

    Public Administration 

    Course Outcome 

    1) Acquiring information about various concepts in Public Administration.

     2) Getting knowledge about Organization, its Bases, Principles and Units. 

    3) Getting acquainted with the budgetary process in India.

     4) Understanding the interface between citizens and Public Administration; and other agencies in society and Public Administration. 

                  Politics and Movements in Maharashtra 

    Course Outcome

     1) Students will know the Political System of Maharashtra.

     2) Students will understand the process of formation of Samyukta Maharashtra

     3) Student will know the Movements, Pressure Groups and Political Parties in Maharashtra.

     4) This will provide comprehensive idea of contemporary politics of Maharashtra


    Paper No. IX and XIV

    International Politics 

    Course Outcome 
    1) This paper deals with the concepts and dimension of International Politics. 
    2) Main theories of International Politics. 
    3) It also deals with the working of International and Regional Organizations and the New World Order that emerged after the end of cold war.

                                                      Foreign Policy of India  

    Course Outcome 
    1) Student will understand Foreign Policy and the objectives of Foreign Policy. 
    2) This will provide comprehensive idea of foundation of India’s Foreign Policy 
    3) Student will come to know India’s relation with Super Powers and neighboring countries. 
    4) It will create awareness towards the current national and international political situation and foreign policy

    Paper No. X and XV

    Comparative Politics 

    Course Outcome 
    1) Students will be familiar with basic Theory of Comparative Politics 
    2) Students become able to understand Constitutionalism, Federalism.
     3) Students shall understand Party System and Pressure Groups functioning. 
    4) Students shall understand classification of Political Parties and Pressure Groups.

     Comparative Government  (With special reference to UK & USA) 

    Course Outcome
     1) To familiarize students with composition, functions and law making process in UK and USA.
     2) To introduce the students with execution process of laws in UK and USA 
    3) To introduce the Judicial System in UK and USA and procedure of adjudication 
    4) Students will understand the role of Pressure Groups in the Politics of UK and USA

    Paper No. XI and XVI

    Western Political Thought – I 

     Course Outcome 
    1) This paper studies the Western Tradition from Plato to Rousseau. 
    2) The legacy of the thinkers is explained with the view to establish the continuity and change within the Western Political Tradition.
     3) It helps students to study historical aspects of Western State and Society.

     Modern Western Political Thought- II 

    Course Outcome 
    1. This paper studies the Modern Western views from Karl Marx to Gramsci. 
    2. It explores contemporary emerging various aspects of Western State and Society.
